Time flies and our Trivia night is now only a few days away….
Have you been meaning to book your ticket or table but put it off till a date closer to the event? Well now is that time to book! Thanks to those of you who have booked and paid for tables- we’re looking forward to it!
If you are planning on coming along then please read the previous email (below) with details of how to book and pay for your seat/ table. Its not too late to book- we’d really appreciate it if you could let us know you want to come along so we can get the tables and chairs organised and make sure we have enough refreshments available!
There will be a couple of spare tables set up for people who turn up unannounced on the night, but we’d obviously prefer that you let us know if you are coming aloing.
We have a great line up of prizes- more seem to turn up every day! To add to the great list below, we have a banquet for two from Chow Garden Chinese Restaurant in Epping, two pet packs (dog and cat) from Pet Stock, a Stig alarm clock from AutoBarn, a massage voucher from Chocolate Lilly Hair and Beauty, meal vouchers from the Epping RSL and some lovely homewares from very generous ACA members. It also turns out that the Champagne High Tea at Parliament House donated by Danielle Green MP is for 4 people and valued at $140 not $42! I hope everyone who attends walks away with at least one prize!
We hope to see you there… but if you cant make it but woudl still like to support us in our major fund raising event for the year, you can always make a cash donation to the ACA (see email below for bank details).
Remember we need your support to do all the great things we do for our community- without funds we cant- purchase public libility insurance $800/ year (and therefore hold events), have a website and host an online forum ($500/ year), pay for room hire to host events/ meetings ($500/ year) and so on… So please make sure you support us if you value all the important advocacy work we do and the events we hold.

As you are hopefully aware the ACA’s major fundraiser and social event for the year, our Trivia Night, is on next Saturday night, 24th March, 7pm.
Have you booked and PAID for your tickets or table yet? This needs to be done by Wednesday 21st March! (So tickets can be paid for and distributed). See bottom of email for details on payment options.
Tickets are $10 each, pre-purchased. You can make up your own table of 8-10 and organise this yourself with Lisa Hall (ACA secretary) or, if you can’t make up a full table and need to be combined with some others in the same situation then just email Lisa and we can sort it out for you. The event will be held in Epping North at the Epping Views Primary School, 7pm for a prompt 7.30pm start, Saturday 24th March 2012.
There will be plenty of fun games and activities to break up the trivia rounds along with excellent prizes. Bring along your smarts, sense of humour and plenty of gold coins and hopefully walk away with a sensational prize!
You can bring along your own food and drink picnic style (ie own plates and cups)- tea and coffee will be provided.

Current members who renew on the night or new members who sign up on the night will go in the running for a special members prize draw- prize to be confirmed but sure to be great!
There will be space for the kids (bring some activities for them) though we hope to organise someone to keep them occupied like a face painter (if you know of anyone suitable let us know!)
The night is to raise funds to pay for the ACA’s annual Public Liability Insurance bill (around $800) and website hosting bills (around $700). Without the Public Liability Insurance the ACA cannot run public events or meetings of any kind.
This will be one night you don’t want to miss, so please come along for a few laughs, some healthy competition and fantastic company all in the name of a great cause.
