Hello Aurora/ Epping North residents,
sorry for another communication today- with all the busyness of the Trivia Night preparation this one got away from us and the event isn’t far away!
As you are hopefully aware, as per the flyer you should have received in your letterbox in the past few days, Places Victoria is again hosting a Moonlight Cinema to celebrate Earth Hour, this year on the 31st March. Details are as follows:
Movie showing- Red Dog, rated PG
When: 7:30-10:30pm Saturday 31st March 2012
Where: Aurora Display Village Park, corner of Discovery Place & Corbett Ave Epping North.
Places Victoria are expecting 300- 600 people depending on weather so get there early – the event will be held at exactly the same place as the last two years gone by.
We are planning to have a marquee at the moonlight cinema (volunteer dependent) and to use that opportunity to meet and greet Epping North residents who are interested in the ACA and let them know about all the great things the ACA is doing for the community (and even sign up a few new members if we are lucky).
We’d need to have a presence there from about 6- 6.30pm till the start of the movie (at the commencement of earth hour) around 8pm (will confirm once Places Victoria confirm with us).
Are you interested in coming along for no more than an hour (maybe even 30 minutes, dependent on volunteers available) to chat with attendees about the ACA and what we do?
If you are interested, please respond to this email and let me know if you have any time constraints you may have.
If you cant help out we’d love to see you there at this great FREE event!
